Be healthy and happy, not a hero

Are you sick of seeing body transformations of perfectly healthy sized women celebrating their new skinny selves, bones jutting out of their skimpy designer lycra?

Or bicep bulging powerhouses posting their 10-egg white quinoa breakfast on Instagram or Facebook, which they ate one-handed while doing chin ups?

There’s nothing wrong with training hard, losing some fat, and eating well, but trying to measure up to the fashion world’s catwalk waifs and the bodybuilding’s meatheads is unrealistic, unhealthy and mostly impossible – unless you stick to strict dieting.

There’s a better way, and it’s pretty simple.

1. Your shape is unique. Don't compare it to others.

2. Love your body. Treat it well with good fresh food, regular exercise and relaxation.

3. Focus on how your clothes fit and how your feel, not on what number is on the scales.

4. Don't feel guilty if you have a splurge, or miss a session. Just keep going forward

5. Keep it real. Forget crazy diets and training until you vomit. Neither work in the long run.

Don’t believe the media hype that there’s a perfect size, shape and weight. Work with what your mamma gave ‘ya. It’s a masterpiece. All you need to do is keep the canvas in good condition and add the final brushstrokes. That way, you’ll be proud to stand on your own pedestal.

I Want Fitness Women's bootcamp is about being the best version of you that you can be. Celebrate the wonderful woman that you are.
